Ibanez 506

SR506? What year? Recent ones with MK1 pups are pretty common.

Bartolini refer them as MK size (33.66 mm x 107.57 mm / 1.33" x 4.24"). But any bass with MK pups can also accept Bartolini P2 size which is only a bit smaller (32.13 mm x 108.08 mm / 1.27" x 4.26") thus negligible in appearance. Many other pup makers, such as Nordstrand, Aguilar and Seymour Duncan, also have P2 size, but they are usually being optimized for 5 string. Only those P2 pups with full blade coil(s) inside which are compatible with 6 string configuration.

I think the OP mentioned "bridge pick up". I don't think the OP is looking to change their bridge.

- I Stand corrected. Thanks.

The year made/ series is still important tho, as 'Aidil' noted-
The later ones have Bart Mk sized pickups that he provided good info on.
The earlier ones are slightly larger than EMG 40 series, and Bart has pickups in that size also- (CF size maybe) same as Mighty Mites.

Yes I was thinking bridge pickup as a normal magnetic pickup when I read the first post. But since JustForSport emphasized the word 'bridge', thus came up in my mind whether piezo bridge pickup had ever been given in older SR506?
