If every note you play is a brown note, then why would it matter?
Why do you need a high c to play metal? A 5er wont do the Job? Sr305 os very nice for metal. If you can spend more money a 505 si great but a bit to jazzy
The BTBs are a 19mm spacing /35" scale basses, and the SR is 16.5 / 34". That is a big difference in my book, especially on a 6 string. Pickups are similar, preamps are identical. I think the biggest differences between them are going to be looks and playability.
Obviously you need an Elrick![]()
Exactly this. They sound very similar and play COMPLETELY differently.
Obviously I can't afford that if I'm looking at Ibanez basses 1/6th the price of those...
I was kidding, as I have a 35" 19mm 6'er in the classifieds![]()
Get a soundgear SR 506 they rock
There is no difference other than appearance on those instruments. You'll hear people say how *insert model number* will have a bit more highs/lows/mids but they all play exactly the same. Same electronics, everything.
Just pick the one you like most.
