Ibanez ATK300...input please?

I've been looking at the Ibanez ATK300 mainly for a back-up bass. I haven't had a chance to try one but I do have a Fender Precision. Is the neck on the ATK about the same width and thickness of a Precision or thinner in your opinion? I usually play a precision or a jazz. Where would the ATK's neck compare to these 2 basses? Thanks.

About the same as a Fender P, thicker then a jazz. The tone is really good and properly setup they play really nice. I had a 305 that played and sounded really good, sold it because i wanted a 4 string and i liked the tone so much i got a 300 a week latter. I think if you get one you will not be disappointed.

I own an ATK300. The neck is slightly wider and thicker than a fender P - closer to a EB Music Man. Hope this helps
