Anyone play through one of these? Never heard of them till yesterday and they sound like they might be in the ballpark of an inexpensive light OD that may sound good for bass. Can only find one mediocre youtube clip on bass.

What info I can find is: "The Ibanez BB9 is a booster that provides a fat bottom end with a powerful sound, perfect for the player who wants to push their amp into overdrive without losing any of their low-end."

I have been using one since 6 months ago, and I think its awesome! It is just what I needed, it kind of thickens my bass sound (I use it always on) and now my bass sounds very big, muddy, and thick, like some kind of mix between Tony Levin and James Jamerson.
I have not messed a lot with the dials, because I found my sweet spot almost inmediatly, but I can tell you that its capable of growling (if you are into stoner rock, geezer butler, etc...) and to put some mud into your sound as well.
I will buy another one, just to be safe as it has become a crucial part of my sound.

Go and buy it, dont let the price and the tag name fool you, you will not be dissapointed!
