OK, so why would anyone shell out the extra bucks for a prestige? what's different other than the wood?
Prestige basses are made in Japan, for theoretically better quality. I personally have had mixed QC experiences with lower end Ibanez models, so I'm happy to pay for it. How much it really matters...up to you, really.
I'm reading this thread because I miss my old BTB, and am gassing over the BTB I played a couple weeks ago.
Has anybody kept their MK2 pups and changed the preamp in their 575?
I believe the 1305 has USA bart pickups as well as US Bart preamp, not the MK2.
