After playing my headless 5 string Ibanez for a long time, I suddenly have no sound. Opened the cavity and saw nothing unusual (no wires disconnected, overlapping, etc) but I'm also totally new to understanding the electronics and this thing has far more than simple soldering inside it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, as YouTube videos don't have much to offer.

Thank you! I did that, still no sound. At a minimum I also made sure it's not the cable.

Try a different bass to rule out the amp? Or just plug in the cable and touch the tip to make sure it’s working.
This probably won't help but I had a very strange thing happen this evening.
I plugged my cable into my amp and then plugged it into the bass. I turned on the amp and heard only a buzz but no bass sound. It took me a few minutes of fiddling with things to determine that I had plugged the cable that was attached to my tuner into the bass and not the cable that was plugged into the amp.
