I just got the bass last week and since I couldn't find much info about it, I'll write something that can be helpful for those in the future who will consider this bass.
It's a phenomenal bass. Extremely easy to play and super light (6.7lbs). I've played 19mm basses all my life and I thought I wouldn't like the 16.5mm spacing. I was wrong. I have no issue switching between the two.
It sounds fantastic, exactly like a fretless should sound like. I'm attaching a video of Norwegian woods by Gary Willis. I just started learning this a couple of days ago but it's a good tune to showcase how it sounds.
I'm also attaching another video, to compare the Ibanez to the Zon Legacy Elite Special. I love both basses, but man the gw1005 is like playing butter.
