Very cute, and the spec seems good, unlike most of the cheaper shortscales.

Yeah I think being a PJ may make it a bit more versatile than the average mini P Bass. I also like where the horn is in relation to fret 12. Makes me think it may actually balance on the strap. It does have me thinking...

I actually think I do...

The one thing that I can't find listed anywhere is the neck material...I can only assume it's a bolt-on maple neck. I might pick one up a black one and replace the stock pups, electronics, and bridge.

I just played one of these and I have to say it sounded great! Very punchy and aggressive tone, and easy to play. I might pick one up in sparkle purple.

I would love to take the stage with this little thing and rip the funk.

It's a novelty bass.

The neck felt great and the string spacing was easy to slap on. OT, but the bass had a great slap tone. I didn't take special notice of the neck or spacing. It didn't seem like anything unusual. I'd imagine it is similat to any other Ibanez SR; pretty thin. The action on the one I played was what I would call medium, but probably could have gone much lower. The neck really looked great. There was no buzzing frets and all fret ends were nicely finished; no sharp edges.

Well, that looks like a standard Fender-style bridge, so I imagine it has pretty standard spacing, too.
