Ibanez Mikro 28.6" Scale PJ

I just picked up a black one from ZZsounds after playing it at SamAsh yesterday. Playing it through that new Roland amp with 4 little speakers was the most fun I've had in a while.

I just had to get it. I am secretly hoping I can turn my niece on to bass when she gets a little older!

:)

Hope we get another LA GTG so I can check out that cool lil' thing.

Oh, and that little Kubicki and Aria too... I guess :hiding::hiding:

'grats on the score, Zuma!

Seein' these short scales makes me want to get my money together for a piccolo project.

I've been playing bass since 1963. My first bass was a SS Supro...did the job. Then on to the standards of the day, Fender Jazz and Rickenbacker, had an EKO and a Hagstrom 8-string, and recently a Peavey Forum. Just bought one of these little Ibanez basses due to old age (mine) arthritic shoulders and general stamina. I LOVE IT! It may have the nicest tone of any of them...although the Peavey is pretty nice. But, most importantly, it's allowed me to play again and that makes it worth it at any price. This is not a toy and everyone should pick one up and play it before making snide comments about it. Rock on.
