Ibanez Roadstar II vs Peavey T20

All right I am getting a bass to use in my newly formed Math Rock Trio. I am looking for a bass that is verstile and can do agressive and old school P bass tones.

I have narrowed it down to either:
Early 80's USA peavey T20
-$200
-In good shape
-No case

MIJ Ibanez Roadstar II P-Bass

-$300
-In fair shape (a bit of Mojo)
-with hard shell case

So which would you get in my shoes?

Haha, i started a thread the other week about a Peavey Fury vs Ibby Roadstar!!

The consensus was in favor of the Roadstar!

Now, i HAVE a T20... and i really wouldn't trade that for either of those, but... the slanty Super Ferrite sounds different than a Split P. The T20 neck is fairly chunky, too. I do a bit of math-rock stuff, and i don't usually reach for the T20 in those cases....

Try one if you get a chance!!
