IBANEZ "SILVER" BASS PEDALS

I don't know if there already is a thread for the Ibanez "silver" pedals, but I have yet to find a better pedal for the price. The last time I had a dominantly silver pedalboard was in 1994. Now, it's 2020 and my Ibanez silver pedals STILL sound better than most anything out there.
Aside from the Darkglass B3K overdrive, the Ibanez PD7 Phat-Hed sounds JUST as good for 1/3 of the price.
The other silver pedals sound better than their contemporary counterparts for still a fraction of the price.
Not only do they sound AMAZING, but the design is perfect. Choose the levels you prefer, and push in the knobs and you're set !!!
Also, in 1994, I used my guitar players Ibanez UE305 and UE405 which was the answer to my psychedelic search ! It had Compression, Delay, and Chorus / Flanger. It was
PERFECT !
What's your experience with and opinion on these ?

I've been on the lookout for a PD7 for way too long now.

I loved my pd7 but sold it when I got my cog mini 66... preferred a bit of clean blend. But the overdrive mode with bass turned up And treble down is sooooo much boom! Got complimented on it a few tiles at gigs.

I have kept and will never sell my Ibanez wd7... best wah ever! Went back to it lately and it still works perfectly despite sitting in a cupboard for a while, it’s definitely built like a tank.
Have the sb7 but it’s pretty crappy... I mean it does what it says it will do but it’s just an auto wah / auto wah with a bad fuzz...

I had the PD7 for a while and liked it. Sometimes wish I had it back. It was definitely better than the Bass Tube Screamer, though I also must say the PD7 I had was a touch noisy. I chalk that up to its age and the march of technology; the definition of a "quiet" pedal 20 years ago isn't the same as a "quiet" pedal now.

My Ibanez DE7 is still my favorite delay. The Echo mode is so gorgeous and unique. I love how your notes blend together and hang around like ghosts...-and you have so much control of the volume of the repeats. Seriously underrated pedal

Mine stopped working. The stomp switch worked half the time(that wasn’t the problem tho). I don’t like the board mounted pots.

But the wack’d mode on the flanger/chorus was neat.

I like the PD7. It retains tons of low end. The only bummer is that the attack settings are so noisy.

Ibanez' "Tone-Lok" series of pedals. They all have 7 in the model number, and they've been out of production for several years now. I have a couple of them that I use for guitar (TS7 tubescreamer and FZ7 fuzz). I also have a Tone-Lok 'Bass Synth' pedal, it's so bad it's funny.

Nope, all the hipsters know about these, so they are no longer a cheap "sleeper" pedal. Virtually every one on Reverb is priced over a hundred bucks.

I bought the Phaser a few years back on a lark since it was sitting behind the counter at GC for $15.

It's...fine...

The Mooer Phase90 clone I replaced it with is better.

$15 bucks is crazy good deal. I love the silver pedals because they sound amazing, and are still dirt cheap. I got my chorus/phaser for like $35 bucks.

If I showed you my chest of parts, you'd see about seven bass overdrive pedals. There are only TWO that I keep out in my pedalboard - The Ibanez PhatHed and the Darkglass B3K.

I had the bass synth pedal.
I wanted to start experimenting with a synth pedal and it was like $40 or something brand new so I figured why not.
It wasn’t great but i still used it on two different records. And then I found a few other synth pedals I liked way more.

I still have 4 of the LF7 lo-fi pedals.
I love those things.
I’d love to get a pair of them rack mounted.
The push in knobs are a great design. but they are pretty clunky otherwise.
The switch isn’t the best (my most used one still works.... most of the time) and neither is the bypass.
But I just can’t seem to find a suitable replacement for them.
