Hello all. Just picked up a 77 silver series today. Noticed that the knobs may not be the originals. I have a 76 as well. Here are pictures of both the 76 and the 77. Does anyone know which knobs are the originals? Maybe they changed from one year to the other. Thank you.

Ibanez Silver Series Bass Knobs 1977

based on this picture, I would say the knobs on the 2nd one are the original. The first one looks like the replacement ones you buy on ebay these days (I have bought quite a few of them), also the knobs in the first picture look a little too new to be on a 76 or 77 bass.
Cool thank you. Are yours totally flat on top? The ones in my second picture (1977) are totally flat as the first pic they are rounded on top. Sorry I am just a stickler for this to be totally stock original.
The picture is not one I owned but found on the Net. If memory serves me correctly, as it was many years ago and I didn't have it long, they were flat on top, but to be honest, didn't really pay that much attention. The rounded tops are the ones you usually find pretty easily today on Ebay.
