Just curious if anyone here owns or has at least tried out the new Ibanez 6-string single-cut bass.
I owned an older Ibanez BTB model (bolt-on double-cut) for a few years and playability-wise, to this day it is one of the best basses I have ever owned. I found the Bartolini pickups a bit sterile , but otherwise...I sold that bass in 2011 and have found myself regretting it on occasion.
I've gone back to 4-strings for the time being and am enjoying being a "traditionalist" again, but if and when I get a hankering to add a sixer to the stable I am definitely considering this Ibanez. If anyone has any thoughts/opinions on it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
