Anyways, any one uses this pedal for bass? I borrowed it from my guitarist and it sounds great at home, just me playing. I was wondering if there is anything I should consider before buying it? I will try it a bit with the band tonight. But is there i some other pedal that sounds better for the same price or something that you've noticed that isn't good about it? I have an EHX LBM, which is great, but the Smash Box has a rawer but cleaner sound to it, and seems to let more bass through.

What's your thoughts?

Man, I LOVE the smash Box, and I never see it getting love here. So... there ya go. Lol.

I really like using it as a boost with just a little gain. But then again, the gain knob on ten is also cool. This pedal is just too good.

what kind of "attack" do you set the switch for? Mine's always on 'sharp'.

I had the sm7 for years in a punk band, it was so popular people would pay to borrow it from me for a few days at a time lol.
