Ibanez SoundGear SR905 bass guitar. It is in pristine condition...no rash--never wore a belt when playing it. The SR905 was eventually replaced by the Ibanez Prestige line.

Bass has one tiny nick on the back of the body. (I blew up a picture so you can see it.) Neck is straight--no problems or issues. I'm including a hardshell case and leather strap with strap locks.

Why am I selling it? This was my first serious bass, and I now own three others. Haven't played it for over two years, and these instruments were meant to be played and enjoyed.

    Here are the specs:

    34" scale and a 12" radius neck, 16.5mm spacing
    Neck-thru solid body
Beautiful solid flame maple body with a deep red translucent stain
    Maple/bubinga 5-piece neck
    Ebony fretboard
    Two MK1 Bartolini pickups
    Accu-cast B20 bridge
3-knob EQ (hi-mid-lo), pickup balance, and volume control knobs
Includes a black leather/suede strap with strap locks
Includes a hardshell SKB locking case (with key) -- two small cracks on one corner

It's a great bass, I have one, much brighter than the SRs with Mahogany bodies, very fast and comfortable. Just note the ad says it is 35", it is actually a 34" as are all SRs. Still has a great low B.

    It's 1 3/4". About 45mm.

Sorry xhawk5. Not sure how to wrap/ship it safely without the case. That's been my holdup.

Also owned this exact model. Also sold it because it wasn't getting played.

Best bass for overall playability and comfort I ever had; it hung just right and felt like a natural extension of me.

I went 4 string and all-passive a while back. But still miss my 905. GLWTS!

The bass is still for sale. $500 plus abut $75 shipping. This same model just closed on ebay for $585 + $73 shipping. I think the wood grain and condition on this one is better than the one that was for sale on ebay...

I may be a player on your bass. Are you open to local pickup? If so, what part of Texas are you in?
