I bought one of these about a month ago. I was really SOLD when i tested it. I have Sadowskys and Foderas but this under 1000dollar bass just blew me away! I love the neck and i love how it sounds... Only thing im not so sure about is the finish on the body. It feels like this bass could get dings and scratches really easily. But anyway. Wow alot of negative thoughts on gold hardware, lol. I always wanted a white Jazz with white headstock and gold hardware! When I get my Cirrus I am looking for the red quilt (tiger?) finish with gold, lol. I guess it is just personal taste/style. Any way, little late but congrats any way on your new bass!!

Hey, congrats on the new bass! the 1200s are really nice!

Jay43 and TheMidst - I bet it's something simple like a pot just needing to be cleaned, MAYBE a bad solder point. I really doubt it's anything major though. If you're not comfortable doing anything with the electronics yourself, definitely take it in.

This thing sounds nothing like the SR's with the other pickups. As for as price, someone can do alot better than 999.99 for a new 1200. With unkle Ike I shot him a best offer and we met somewhere in the middle, very fair.

Is "uncle ike" code for an online vendor? I'm looking to find a great deal on a Lefty SR1200E.
