Hi everyone,
I've got a small issue with my Ibanez SR1350B and I'm wondering if anyone has run into something similar.
When I tap the back of the neck, I hear a noticeable knocking/clicking sound. My guess is that one of the KTS titanium rods might be a bit loose in its channel. It also seems to resonate at certain notes — for example harmonics on the D string.
It doesn't seem to come through in the signal or on recordings, I can only hear it acoustically from the neck.
I was actually planning to sell the bass, so I'm wondering — has anyone experienced this with KTS rods or Ibanez necks? If so, roughly how much could something like this affect the value of the instrument, and would it still be sellable?
