Ibanez SR300 w P/J's electronics' upgrade

So, I have this 4-string passive SR300 back from 99 and I was wondering if any electronics upgrade would worth. I'm in to punk/metal sound.
I was thinking about replacing the stock ibanez pickups (which have really low output) with EMG's PHZ and SJHZ pickups. Any other suggestions are welcome.

If you're going to keep it passive I'd god with QP's or Dimarzio's.
