Ibanez SR506 Saddle problem

So, I went to my local GC yesterday (Roseville for those in the MPLS area) and I purchased an Ibanez SR 506, on first inspection everything seemed tip top. I bought it, and brought it home, and the B string is making a weird noise, I look down at the bridge AND THE SADDLE IS RATTLING! so whenever I play the low B, the saddle rattle back and forth, and I can push it back and adjust it while the strings are on, this also happens on the D string, but not to as much of an extent.

I am bringing it back tonight to get it swapped out for a new one/different bass. But I am wondering, has anyone experienced this type of problem before? Is it common?

had a problem like this with my 506 when i first got it, the action at the saddle would always drop with about 2 hours worth of playing, raising it all the time was a royal pain, was going to get it fixed but i'm lazy and left it a while continuing to play it and it fixed itself, guessing it just wore in a little and everything settled down
i lost my excuse to get all black hardware, dont do the same, get onto it while you still can... blaaaaaaaaaaaaack
