Been studying and practicing DB plucking technique - Two gigs under my belt Friday and last night. What an absolute blast to play.

Yes the instrument comes with the stand and padded gig bag. There is a slot in the bag for a bow. Ibanez did a really good job putting this package together. I added a bow and quiver to complete my set up.Is the tripod coming with the instrument?
Is the tripod coming with the instrument?
Yes, It's made by Tama for Ibanez; It's heavy-duty with the emphasis on "heavy".
How can the bass be moving is the stand is stable?
I have that as well. I read somewhere it is because of the witness angle as the string leaves the fingerboard towards the bridge; it is a somewhat short distance and therefore a sharp angle so it is in contact with more of your finger than on a longer scale or father down the neck. I'm not crazy about sounds up there anyway, but it could be important to Jazz soloists I imagine.Other downside is the lack of sustain in the upper register
A string in the likes of the the T-I Jazz Flats could help with sustain I guess.

I think it’s in the bolt connection with the bass. It moves from side to side, even when the joint appears to be tight.
Maybe the post connected to the bolt interface is slipping/turning in the stand. I need to do more experimenting. (I’ve used it for a two-hour show and a three hour jam session/practice.)
I didn’t notice it when playing alone at home, but I must play it with more force when playing with others.
I didn't know you could wash them, but I suppose that would be a handy accessory for the typical bassist on a budget.........
Did you use the rubber washer that came with it?
Hmm, I didn’t find a rubber washer.Shouldn't move from side to side at all when snug.

Unfortunately, I bought it used, so maybe it didn’t come with it or I didn’t see it in the packaging.
I’ll check the packaging, but I suppose I should be able to find something like it at the hardware store. How big and thick is it? (Rough estimate is fine.)
It's the full diameter of the stand's metal mounting surface, about 1/8" thick give or take. It's vital to the operation of the bass. Check the gig bag , stand compartment & bow pocket closely.
Any picture of the rubber washer and mounting? I am not sure what you mean by it. Thanks
