iceman 200 VS squier

yeah ok... so i see alot of comparisons between icemans and t-birds.... but wut about a ibbanez iceman 200 and a squier vintage modified jazz bass.... they seem like they are from completely different worlds, but im looking for a new bass and i've started to like both of these...

if its any help, i was in a store and picked up the vintage modified jazz. the binding and blocks are painted on. the rest of the finish is really nice. the neck is thin and the one i picked up had way too much relief in the neck. the neck looked as though it will probably be a continuous problem.

i have no experience with the iceman.

My brother just picked up the Modified Vintage and the blocks are inlays. The binding is not painted on either.

not trying to start an argument here, but i am stating with certainty that the one i picked up had painted on blocks. they had the same grain as the neck did. the binding looked about the same.

anyone else here confirm or deny either claim?

go with the squier. it will be worth everything. there exactly like a fender, you just have to adjust the bridge, and junk like that. and maybe a few parts to replace, but nothin major.
