70's, and 80's metal was really where it was at (and is pretty well represented in this thread) with really outstanding efforts from the likes of Motörhead, Metalica, Anthrax, Saxon, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, Lawnmower Deth, etc.

I'm also a big fan of the typography logos for ABBA, and The Carpenters, as well as logos that mixed typography with iconography, such as The Monkees, The Who, and Wu-Tang Clan.

But for me, three logos that really need to be represented in this thread :
