ID black silk strings

ID string manufacturer for: steel, round wound with black silk on both ends please.

Any idea how old those strings might be?

I ask because the Fender 7250 nickel-plated steel rounds made before 2010 came with black silk at both ends with brass-colored ball ends. I'm not sure if the Fender 7350 stainless steel rounds came with the same black silk or not, though.

As far as I know, La Bella Hard Rockin' Steels (now discontinued) also came with black silk. But I'm not sure if they were silked at both ends or maybe only at the tuner end.

Are you sure these are stainless? From the images, they look quite shiny, which indicates nickel on steel. To me, they look like pre 2010 MIM Fender NPS.

I think around 2010 Fender as well. No matter, if you don't know how old I'd just replace them. Then you know what's on it. Up to ya.

SS and NPS are clearly distinguishable by color. SS is darker gray, with no shine, while NPS is brighter and shiny. If you've used both types, it's very easy to tell them apart.

You're talking about flats, correct? The ones the OP is asking about are rounds.

They used too. I had some with blue silks.
