Bass player should look 1) disinterested 2) should check watch regularly- just punching the clock 3) only move between songs, and even then only a step forward, backward or to the side. 4) never look at band mates or acknowledge their existence 5) check out women in the crowd, barely enough to be noticed - only as a courtesy to their boyfriends.

That's about it.

I don't think cargo shorts or shorts of any kind should be worn on stage. Take a bit more pride in your visual appearance. I don't care how warm it is.

While I tend to agree as I never wear shorts myself (onstage or off), it seems to have worked out ok for this guy and his multitude of bands.
