I own this handy guide, Chord Bassics.
This is the cover:
Invalid Link Removed
The back says "The bass featured on the cover is a 1966 Sunburst Fender Precision Bass."
Uhh no it is not. Is that just a typo? I am a stickler for details.
Also, since it is so obviously NOT a Precision, what is it? One of the main distinguishing characters is the humbucker, which looks a lot like an uncovered guitar humbucker. And the inlays on the neck are squarish, but with soft rounded edges, which is kinda cool and different.
Does anybody else have this book and notice the typo on the back? Does anybody know kind of bass this is then? I am just curious, thanks!
