Identify this bass...

So, I was watching the video for In Bloom by Nirvana, and usually I like to get a look at the bass that the bassist is playing in music videos, and a lot of times they're pretty noticeable (if it has the band in the video, that is), but this bass had holes in it and it didn't say anything on Krist's wikipedia page (thats where i go to find these things out :P). What kind of bass is it?

The fretted Ampeg was a AEB-1, I believe. I had a AUB-1 which was the fretless around '72 -'73. I paid 120.00 for it and traded it in on a new '73 P all natural. They came out in '66 and ran a couple years. I believe there was less than 2000 in total made. I've never seen another AUB other than in pics. The bass player for Jefferson Airplane played a AEB. It was a really nice player and sounded pretty darn good. But then, what the heck wouldn't sound good when I was 16 and 17. :bassist:

PS.. Wish i still had them both. :crying:
