Identify this Rickenbacker please

Aren't the shark-fin fret markers in reverse? I know its a lefty but it still looks wrong to me.

Actually, the lefty 4001/4003 were that way until just a few years ago. They made all the neck-through+headstocks the same until the 1980s when they started producing the "mirror image" headstocks for the lefty (cresting wave on "top"). Since they started making computer directed cuts for full-width inlays, they also made the shark-fin markers point in the other direction for fretboards for the lefties. I think that started in 2008(?).
