Identifying bass make and model

First time being on this forums.
This bass I received from my brother who passed away. I've been playing bass guitar for 14 years now. But this one I have no idea what it is. People have told me it's an ibanez but I'm not sure if that's what it is.
Also I'm looking to see if anyone could possibly know the value of it?

My first inclination is to say it is hand-built by someone who is not overly experienced at building basses. The items that make me say this are…

Truss rod access route is oddly misshapened
Headstock logo looks to have been created using MS Word and a home printer
Fretboard finish is a high gloss varnish with lots of build up beside each fret
The bridge pickup is not square with the bridge (or vice versa)
The bridge appears to be a tremolo version (which explains the locking nut)
The pickups might be for a five string instead of a four string

It could be that someone altered an existing model, but if so, I can’t place what it might have once been.

Best of luck
