I got mine yesterday. Got to try it out today, although not in optimal context (my soul band instead of my post punk band).
I noticed a slight volume drop, but I didn't have a chance to fiddle the knobs, so I'm not 100 percent sure about that drop.
Will report back on Sunday when I get to try it out in proper context.

I notice a very tiny drop, which is weird because it has a volume knob. I wish the volume knob provided a much more hefty boost than it seems to. I have it maxed.

Did I read somewhere that you might need to activate it twice sometimes to get it work or was it some other pedal?
The volume drop annoys me. I'll make it work, but it's a bit disappointing that you need to work around flaws.

If I didn't like the pedals voice so much, I would have thrown it in the trash due to it's quirks. It must be powered from more than 100mA or it will not work, or you will have to unplug it and plug it in again. I run it off a 250mA output (#5 and 6) on my Voodoo PP@+ and it has never done that issue again. But yes, very quirky pedal that should have had more r&d before being made public.

My Powerplant jr. gives 120mA per output. Dark Waves worked fine on Thursday, today not so well. It started working after I gave it a power source of it own.

Anything under 125mA will be iffy. I supply it with 250 minimum.

I really don't want to buy a new power source. It's enough I have to daisy chain from the Powerplant jr. to power some pedals. Damn it.

I always resisted buying quality PSU's, but I ended up getting two (PP@+ and Cioks DC5) and it makes using pedals a lot easier.

I really like this pedal! The chorus sounds great on bass; it really does catch that 70s-80s vibe. The notes sound even in all registers. I didn't think I'd ever use the echo, but I'm subbing for a band that plays some Pink Floyd tunes, and this works perfectly.
