Yes Petebass is right. i merely asked averyone to try them out a few times over our extened rehersal schedule, not use them out.

IEM Blindness

I thought I'd just give you all a rundown on our first two gigs with the IEM. First we played an outside wedding under a tent. My singer was very nervous about it and wasn't that thrilled with it at the end of the gig. My lead gtr says he was about halfway commited after the wedding. Our other gtr player who made the comment was quiet the whole gig. Our singer, his wife said he was in a very foul mood over the sound or lact thereof onstage. Also our drummer who uses electronic drums went from a big and loud Mackie powered 15" top to a small 12" QSC top on a stand facing him. I must say for me it was the quietest stage I had been on in years. Right out of the box our FOH man was smiling. We had drums and bass and vocals keys flute and sax in the IEM. That evening we did a typical bar gig for about 75 people. By the middle of the night both the lead gtr and singer said they were sold. I asked my FOH guy today his thoughts and he said they made the single largest change on his system ever. He said suddenly the audience could hear us through the system w/o fighting the stage. He was ecstatic. Cheers..CP
