IEM upgrade suggestions

Hello all,

So this I guess a bass relocated topic, as I use the SE215s and the PSM200. However, I'm getting more gigs doing my 90's rock band where I sing lead and that's it. I am looking at moving up with IEMs and wireless components the more vocal gigs I get (I just had my first child so I kind of need to choose which band to focus on, so I'll follow whichever plays better gigs).

For those SEs out there, I don't mind bucking up more for better earbuds, currently looking at the Westone 30's or the SE425s. However, a few questions if you don't mind answering.

1. I can understand multiple driver IEMs better for bass clarity, but how much better are they than single drivers for vocalists?

2. Would I be better off with multi drivers and keeping the mono PSM200? Or better off with the 215s and upgrading to a better system (ala PSM300 or equivalent)? The 200 sometimes clips early

I'd go with better IEMs. The PSM200 works fine for the moment. If you have to have stereo later, you can move up to a better and stereo system. But the IEM upgrade will be a better bang for the buck.

Definitely multiple drivers. Takes the full range load off of a single driver. Any musician or singer will appreciate the difference.

(What is it, Christmas already?? All the IEM inquiries lately.... Maybe I can get a new bass!!)
