If you were given a choice, would you pick a Gibson Thunderbird or a Lakland 44-02 or any other basses?
Help me! Need suggestions. i play rock, but like too fiddle around with funk slaps and blues.

WOW, apples and oranges. Try a bunch, buy the one you like more.

I don't like slapping on a T bird, but I've also never tried a Lakland (I'm in the UK)

Try them both, It's all personal opinion.

The T-Bird is a great rock bass, but the Lakland would be more versatile imho.

    Balllllss or versatility?

    I'd personally go T-bird, but that's me!
  9. Out of those two, I'd choose Lakland.
