In all fairness though, if I did it again I would most likely take a "headed" bass. Why? This one has a little bit too much butt dive to my taste. On one hand it promotes better form, though I would like the added stability for standing playing. I still enjoy the bass very thoroughly though.

I prefer this one; '81 Kramer The Duke Special. To me, this is what a headless bass (or guitar) is supposed to look like. All the others are very, very nice, I'm sure, but... they all look like they're missing something. And, yeah, I know they are - and they're supposed to - but I find them... disturbing. This Duke looks just weird enough that being headless gets lost in the mix...

Got to agree. The Duke is the only headless I would consider buying, but I'm past that place now.
