If it has an engine and you think it's cool...

What colour will i be when its done?

That is the finished paint job. It is a seafoam green. My niece picked it out at Home Depot, so my dad had to search far and wide to find someone to color match it.

When the sun comes out again, I will get a better picture of the finished paint job. Here is one I just found that shows the paint a little closer.....

I was hoping you would say that:)
It's very nice.
Any other restoration projects in the future?

It was hard to find parts from guys not trying to rip us off by charging way more than they were worth. :D

We actually found another guy a few miles from where we got this truck who had a big storage container on his property full of old parts. He let us scrounge through it a few times to find what we needed.

Great father and son project, I was thinking of doing the same. What made you pick that truck?

My dad. I wanted a Ford. After we got done arguing about what to restore, my dad won. :D

So we drove around the countryside of Washington State checking out abandoned barns and farms for months trying to find one. Finally did about 30 minutes from our house. This after we had driven five and six hours across the state. DOH!

It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. I've outrun Imperial starships; Not the local bulk cruisers mind you, I'm talking about the big Corellian ships now. She's fast enough for you old man.

She'll make point five past lightspeed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

A quality post right there :D

You know ive been about this close to pimping that ram several times and i gotta tell ya its the only vehicle out of the 24 ive had that i am 110% happy with as is. im just smitten by my truck and i love it just as much today as the day i bought it. idk anyone who can say that about something that costs roughly an entire house payment a monthe between payment, gas and insurance but i just cant change it because i love it TOO much. maybe next winter ill spring for a sick set of tires for her and when the exhaust poops ill get a gibson for it. only change id ever make to it is trading it for a 2500 diesel.

Fair enough. I love my '02 Ram, but I pimped it out. Nothing too crazy, just upgraded to the stock 20's and wider tires, blacked out the headlights, color matched the tails, and took the rake out by dropping the rear end a couple inches.
