I was just reading through this again, and came accross my post from 2 years ago!
So, two years later...

Bass 2. Then: Ibanez ABG - Now: I have had a few ABG´s, but couldn't get to like them! Maybe a Warwick Alien sometime

Bass 4. Then: HB Active P/J - Now: Completely revamped HB Active P/J
Bass 5. Then: Squier Active Jaguar P/J - Now: Squier Passive P/J
Bass 6. Then: Dean (I think) active 4 with soapbars - Now: ESP LTD 5 String Active with Soapbars (on order)
Bass 7. Then: Squier Jazz VM Bass - Now: J&D Jazz Bass
Bass 8. Then: None - Now: Nothing (yet)
Bass 9. Then: None - Now: Nothing (yet)
Bass 10. Then: None - Now: Nothing (yet)
Update to my original post. Instead of zero, I now own 5 of my top 10 basses. The following are my top 10 basses. Of my wishlist, I currently own Zero of them (sniff). The list is in no particular order.
- Conklin BDGT-7 String ✔
- Music Man Bongo HH 6 ✔
- Warwick Thumb 6 ✔
- Fender Steve Bailey Signature Fretless VI or the Warwick Artist Series Steve Bailey 6 Fretless
- Ritter Jupiter 6
- Fodera Monarch 6
- Waterstone TP12 (Need either an 8 or 12-String Bass in the mix.)
- Warwick-Rockbass Alien Deluxe 6 ✔
- Carl Thompson 6-String w/ Scroll
- F Bass BN6 ✔
If I can sneak in a number 11, I also would like to have an upright bass. Also, that recently announced Warwick-Rockbass Triumph EUB also looks quite tempting.
