If you could jam with any drummer....

I gave this a LOT of thought (in between plays while watching the NFL playoffs). I considered most of the drummers submitted thus far, and many more.

I keep coming back to the same guy. He can pretty much do it all. He's goofy, and nerdy, and jazzy, and proggy, and he can rock it hardcore. Whatever I want to play, he can join me and make it right on and solid.

Neil Peart.

The only reason I didn't pick him is that he's been playing with one of the few rock bassists that really intimidate me, as a player.

Geddy is that good.

A guy that drummend in a band I was with. his last name was Clark. He played with Chet Akins way back in the day. He was to drums as Chet was to gutiar. His brother was a realy good lead gutiarest. His name was Frank Clark. Dont know what happend to either of them.
Met a drummer called BamBam on and open mike night at a bar I go to. Think he was there for the Blues / Jazz festable in Detroit. Didnt have my bass with me.

Most of the ones others have mention I have like most of you played along with them of course not in person.
