If you're into StingRays and pastels...

HD Yellow
Aqua Sparkle
Natural
White
Cruz Teal
Starry Night
Charcoal Sparkle
Maroon Mist
Those were the good old days !!

The good old days? You'd have to go back a bit further than that... 35 years, give or take.

Blueburst, Trans Red, Fire Engine Red, Sunburst, Vintage Sunburst, Trans White, Butterscotch etc - not to mention the one to top them all: Peach.

I had a Buttercream H/S Sterling back when it was the 2006 Limited edition color. A little too buttery yellow, and we never bonded.

Peach, that's what it was called... I always saw it as a fusion of Barbie pink and salmon.
A fairly bold color to promote your newest product with.

Who says these pastel colors go against everything EBMM stands for? It's a big fat finger to mass expectations, and I can appreciate it. :D

Honestly at this point, I would love to see EB offer a mod shop similar to Fender’s with the following options:

StingRay or DarkRay (for preamp)
4 or 5 string
Fretted or fretless
Regular or SLO neck for 4 strings
Choose your color with option for matching headstock
Choose your fretboard
Choose your nut color
Choose your hardware color
Choose your strap pins (regular or locking)
Choose your guard
Choose your strings (rounds or flats)

And mark the instrument up however much. I think it would be worth it for someone to get exactly what they want.

How many times am I allowed to like this post?

I'll take a StingRay 4HS with a fretted SLO neck in Silver Sparkle with matching headstock, ebony fretboard, black nut, black hardware, Dunlop Dual Design straplocks, black pickguard, and rounds (plus bonus blue Luminlay side markers) please.

Add in the ability to put a 2EQ and alnico pickup on a Stingray Special and I would be all over that.

A lame offering. Still missing normal Stingray colors like natural and black. Still no fretless. Still no Classic (even though they said it was coming back and they clearly have the capability given the latest crop of BFRs).

They are going to have to do better than that if they ever want to see any more of my money.
