I found this recommendation on earlier TB posts for bass repair in the Hudson Valley region. I did some more research and kept reading rave reviews about luthier Patrick Cummings, owner of iGuitar workshop in Cold Spring, New York. He is by far the best I've used in the tri-State area. He was a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it. Not only is he a real technician, he has a background in engineering so holds some patents for pickups/sound and makes beautiful guitars. If you are like me and don't trust your bass to just anyone and/or don't want to trek down to NYC for work to be done, give his workshop a visit. Thanks again, Patrick!
