I don't see how a custom paint job and a few upgrades anyone could do justifye the bass being worth so much?

I dunno, I like Maiden just as much as the next metal guy but can't support something like that. [edit: Unless Steve was to sign it and the proceeds went to a charity, then I could... but for personal gain... no way]

If it's a 72 p I can see the asking price. I emailed the guy today and asked him to clarify the year and place of manufacture. I have yet to receive a reply which leaves me skeptical.

Wow I love it. I would give $1000 for it but that's it.
Too bad Fender didn't replicate this one. I didn't really dig the blue with the red mirrored p/g.

It's a P-Bass. They pretty much all sound the same (to me at least). No way I'd pay what he's asking.

My '76 P cost me about $500. I could have it refinished and set up to look like this one for far less. And it would still sound and most likely play the same.

I feel sorry for anyone who pays full price for this. I'm sure it's a great playing and sounding instrument, but no way I'd pay that much for it when I know I can get something plays and sounds similar for less.

String-wise if I am not wrong, it should be strung with Rotosound Steve Harris signature flats! After all that 'research' you think the seller would get that right!
