I've only played a powered 410 with the preamp, and it was a big 'eh'. got the job done, served the jam, but I wouldn't buy one myself.

Sorry you are so easily flustered.
Not many people have seen or heard of GBX these days.
I have heard of a few that are collecting for reasons of their own.
I imagine finding a source that has not Frankensteined would be of interest to them

Please ignore any duplicate posts of mine.
Some people have added to the threads so there is some interest out there.
