I'm having problems posting pics

Hate to sound like a dork, but for some reason I can't seem to be able to figure out how to post pics. I've uploaded some of my own pics from my hard drive (the bar graph at the top of my Manage Attachments thing says I have a total of 510.1 KB of attachments already uploaded), but what I'm trying to do is to post the LARGE pics I see in the other guys' posts. I have a Photobucket account with the pics I want to post. When I hover my cursor over the pic I want to post, a small box appears with four options: Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML Code, and IMG Code. I've tried copy-and-pasting ALL FOUR of these options into the "Upload File From a URL" box in the Manage Attachments page. No matter what I do, the result is always "Invalid File".

Do I need to delete some of my attachments that I've uploaded? If so, how do I do that?

I'm obviously missing something, but what? Go easy on me, please. I'm only a bass player.

I'm having difficulty as well. If I go to my photobucket account and choose the file I'd like to put inline with my post, am I not supposed to copy -then paste the url from the address bar?

when I do this - here's the result

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

As of June 1, 2017, Photobucket no longer allows 3rd party hosting (unless you pay them $400/yr)

Anyone have a recommendation for a similar photo sharing site?

Or otherwise a 'normal' way to insert pics in a post?
