I'm new and have some questions

Hi everybody

I've been lurking around on this site for a while because I wanted to pick up playing. I'm trying to get one before september so that I can play at my school jazz band and at youth group + for fun because I've always loved the sound.
I've looked at and played some guitars in some stores and I really liked this Schecter diamond series that I found. I'm not sure of the exact model though and I didn't like the color of the one I found. What's your guys' opinion on cv-4's?
