Hey man... now that wasn't that bad... art wise it was pretty good. and I can't stop thinking that there's no point in bashing him because A) he seems to be being pretty successful and B) finally there are "songs" that we can be asked if we now how to play... haha or better yet guitar players can be asked if they know how to play and they have to go "no, i can't play bass"

I've never claimed to be nice or kind. I am open to all kinds of music, but if the artist sucks, he sucks. And this clown rates a 9.5 on the vacuum scale. He can't play a bass and his, and I use this term loosely, singing sounds like a cat wrapped in barbed wire. And yes, I listened to his other stuff and my opinion is the same. I'd rate this guy right up there with Pete Wentz. So maybe we'll be seeing another signature bass from Squier. I vote we kill him before that happens.

If you did, you'll get a completely different impression. That OP link is obviously just a random, off the cuff clip.

You still don't have to like him but some of the comments here based on that single (admittedly amateurish) clip are way off base.

almost made my ears bleed but i don't think he deserves what you guys give him, like ya hes no musician but hes doing what he does. hes not that original like people say in the comments. He cant sing but he takes the punk aspects to it, and he playing some kinda oldies riff. reminds me of a western. but ya he shouldn't get the credit he does. maybe ill get rich by playing @#%$ too!!

Seems like so many "pop stars" have no other talent than to annoy the older generation. This, in turn, causes the emo's to flock to them like herds of nerds. Personally, as I stated in my comment on youtube, I think I played better the first time I picked up a bass....and the song was, Whole Lotta Love. 8)

I watched his other videos and yeah, my opinion still sticks. He sucks and he isn't singing at all. I rate Pete Wentz higher as he actually plays bass!
