I'm not able to update account status

When I click purchase it gives me the option to choose paypal or my internet browser. When I choose paypal, it just stays on the page without directing me to my paypal and when I choose the broowser option, it takes me to an option to download paypal but I already have the app.

Ahh, I keep forgetting to ask - you're on your phone, then? Which phone/OS/browser ? Thanks :)

On my iPhone, it just takes me to paypal's mobile site.. I have the app installed too.
