i want to wear them and meet somebody, and then not wear them next time i see them.
I would so much rather not have a gig than wear those things.
There really needs to be a Man Law against this.
really? i guess i just dont get why you'd pass up a good gig over something trivial.. although you've probably had alot more gigs than me so that could have something to do with it..
walk a mile in someone elses shoes
because then you'll be a mile away, and you'll have their shoes
+1. This and henna tats. Men should not wear them. No. Care to word it for us, baba?
It seems MORE trivial to me to not get a gig because you don't have ink.

Lost track on the number...
Man Law #???: At no point will a man buy, wear, or even consider slip on tattoo sleeves.
Man Law#???A: At no point will a man buy, wear, or even consider henna tattoos.
Man Law#???B: At no point will a man attempt to justify exceptions to the above laws, especially with something as weak as "gig requirements." Real men stick to their guns.
except you are not in control of the situation. you are presented with two choices
1) wear fake ink and get a paying gig (actually op said tour, so multiple playing gigs)
2) dont wear fake ink, dont get the gig(s)
there may be other gigs out there but you are at this audition because you want this gig (unless your just a gluten for punishment or something)
you have to get the massage to get the happy ending

I get hot enough in a t-shirt and shorts, let alone with my leather jacket on. I'd rather be playing that sweating. Seen people doing it before too, they do tend to fall into douche category![]()
Does this man law cover those with actual tattoos who happen to be wearing said sleeves for novelty value, such as a halloween costume? The only thing sadder than the sleeves I've seen was the shirts you could buy a few years ago, with perfectly placed prints of the tattoos of famous rockstars, eg Marilyn Manson or Phil Anselmo on them...

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are in fact a man but a poor reader. Please reread Man Law #???B.
Not justifying the use of them, just querying. I wasn't the one wearing them. I, at the time, was wearing a cocktail dress if truth be told...
