Two weeks ago I ordered a Squier VM P at Key Music. Last Wednesday I sent them an e-mail asking if it was going to be at the store by the weekend because I had other things planned and needed to know if I had to make time to drop by to pick it up. The guitar guy (they have no bass guy apparently), Alain, instantly called me: he would check with his boss but it was going to take a little longer because of problems with their delivery service.
So I thought I was going to have to wait a few more days. Wrong! Didn't hear anything from them so I sent another mail yesterday because I feared something had gone wrong and the order was canceled altogether. Alain called me again and said he was going to check with his boss and with the delivery service to see what the problem is and would call me back/send me an e-mail this afternoon at the latest.
Still haven't heard anything, starting to consider canceling my order and just buying it somewhere else.
I know I'm impatient (by nature) and I can understand there are some things they have no control over, but is it really that much to ask to at least let me know how long they think it'll be before my bass gets there??
FYI their main supply is maybe 100km away from the shop.
