I'm a little confused about impedance. Why is there a difference and why would I want to run,2,4 or 8ohms. Which is better and why. Hope someone can help.
It is mainly out of need. With a single 8 ohm cabinet you can add another 8 ohm cabinet in parallel. With a single 4 ohm, you are stuck with it, but your amp usually can give more power to it. Not sure that many run for 2 ohms. I know that solid state power amps can do it.
