In a little hurry

I'm looking at buying a p-bass that has something called a stealth a string retainer, a fender high mass bridge, and something called a 47 microfarrad capacitor.

A) should I feel ok with those upgrades?

B) should I care? I have never owned a p-bass and probably won't notice.

C) he says it has new vintage pickups instead of what came with it and mentioned he had some water pounders I could buy.

Thoughts?

Thank you for helping the stupid new guy

A. Depends on the bass. Details...
B. Probably.
C. “Water pounders”? Quarter Pounders-maybe. And you’ll either luv em or hate em ....

Hope this is helpful.

Yeah, autocorrect, quarter pounders.

The only thing I don't know for sure is the year and what "new vintage" means, but you know all I know.

I'm new into gear experimentation and mods so anything helps. These all seem like standard upgrades .

Just thought I'd ask before I buy.

They all seem like fairly standard modifications...and the beauty of a Fender P bass is that due to it's popularity there's so many options available.

The pickup sound like it could be a Custom Shop 62 or similar.

If you can find an age, or photos, and a price, I'm sure the experts here will chime in on whether it's a good deal or not.

Thank you all for the responses. I was literally pulling the trigger and shipping doubled.

So I guess I'm looking for a new p-bass
