in ears and amp?

if i come out of the headphone out on my interface, how do i get to use both headphones and an amp from the same out? do i need a dedicated headphone amp to split the signal? and would i lose power splitting it enough that i wont hear much in my headphones? i know i could compensate with the amp by turning it up but not with the headphones

...interesting question...while there are those here more knowledgeble on line-level signals and above, maybe one other option is to homerun the signal from your pod directly to the amp, then pug your headphone/buds into the appropriate out jack from the amp/preamp(?) versus the other way around.

Depends what DI you're using and\/or if you have a splitter...

you really want to send to the amp after the DI box.
