American made in Detroit by Joe Naylor and company. They never made a fretless. They still make guitars and amps, Invalid Link Removed
Joe said there was not enough demand for basses to justify keeping them in production. Dang shame, as it's by far my favorite bass. I still want a Brad Houser with stacked switchable pups...
